About the Team

We’ve hit product-market fit with nearly zero formal marketing muscle. Beam’s marketing team is just getting started and we’re looking for a founding leader to build the function from first principles. You’ll collaborate closely with Sales, Product, and Ops, and own the end-to-end marketing engine—from brand and content to demand generation and growth. You’ll also have a seat at the leadership table, shaping Beam’s public voice and market presence as we scale.

Responsibilities

1. Demand Generation

  • Launch a multi-touch B2B campaign engine (paid + organic) that delivers ≥3× pipeline-to-quota coverage.

  • Set up first-touch → revenue attribution dashboards (HubSpot / SFDC).

2. Content & Thought Leadership

  • Scale The Beam Podcast from 5k to 50k monthly listens.

  • Turn long-form content into lead magnets: case-study clips, blogs, newsletters.

  • Publish a quarterly AI Infra Benchmark report that becomes the industry standard.

3. Brand & Positioning

  • Refresh our narrative and visual identity ahead of Series B.

  • Achieve ≥70 NPS on brand recall surveys with ICP personas.

  • Land Tier-1 press coverage and guest spots on top ML/data podcasts.

4. Growth Experiments

  • Test two new channels per quarter (e.g., community workshops, developer TikTok).

  • Make scale/kill calls within four weeks based on CAC:LTV guardrails.

5. Team & Ops

  • Hire and coach a high-performing team across demand gen, content, and ops.

  • Introduce OKRs, campaign scorecards, and a blameless retro culture.

Requirements

  • Scaled B2B SaaS or infrastructure marketing from <$5M to $30M+ ARR with developer or technical buyer audiences.

  • Owns the full funnel, brand awareness, demand gen, lifecycle nurture, revenue attribution.

  • Strong storytelling skills; can translate “vector-DB latency” into a CFO-relevant narrative.

  • Experience producing or repurposing podcasts, webinars, and video content.

  • Experiments > opinions; you operate on clear hypotheses and rapid iteration.

  • Able to manage vendors without losing strategic ownership.

  • Clear, punchy communicator, your copy makes people lean in, not glaze over.

Nice to Have

Experience marketing AI/ML tools or developer platforms.

  • Familiarity with usage-based pricing education and product-led growth.

  • Rolodex of B2B podcast guests and conference organizers.

  • Hands-on with RevOps tooling (HubSpot, SFDC, Clearbit, Segment) and attribution models.
