Product Associate
About the Team
Beam’s product team operates at the intersection of AI, engineering, and real-world use cases. We work closely with customers and internal teams to design and build experiences that turn powerful agentic workflows into usable, high-leverage tools. Our product associates are hands-on collaborators, helping translate fast-moving requirements into structured plans and supporting product managers in keeping workstreams clear, prioritised, and moving forward.
About the Role
We’re looking for an AI-native Product Associate to support the day-to-day operations of our product team. You’ll manage tickets, partner with engineers, drive execution across workstreams, and critically help us automate the repetitive parts of product management itself. This is not a note-taking, spreadsheet-polishing role. You’ll be encouraged to bring structure where there is chaos, use AI tools to scale your own impact, and experiment with ways to make Beam’s product org more efficient and agentic. You’ll learn by doing, seeing how real products get built, shipped, and iterated on in a high-context, fast-moving environment.
Responsibilities
Drive end-to-end execution of product initiatives from spec to launch, ensuring clarity, alignment, and measurable outcomes.
Manage and maintain product tickets with high precision, ensuring sprint momentum and clear communication across stakeholders.
Work closely with engineering to unblock delivery, refine requirements, and ensure technical feasibility.
Use AI tools (including Beam agents) to automate recurring PM workflows.
Design, create, and manage internal agents to improve team productivity and automate operational workflows.
Track timelines, surface risks early, and support cross-functional coordination.
Contribute to writing product specs, running QA, and monitoring product metrics.
Requirements
2–3 years of experience in a product management or execution-heavy product role.
Demonstrated ability to manage fast-moving, complex projects, ideally in a technical or AI-related environment.
Comfortable using product and collaboration tools (Linear, Notion, Slack, GitHub).
Experience with no-code/low-code automation tools (Zapier, Make, Relevance AI, etc.).
Strong written and verbal communication; highly organized with excellent follow-through.
Deep interest in AI, automation, and building smarter product processes.
A self-starter mindset, curious, proactive, and energized by solving real problems quickly.
Nice to Have
Exposure to early-stage startups or technical product environments.
Familiarity with LLM-based agents, prompt engineering, or orchestration frameworks.
Benefits
At Beam, we’re building an environment where ambitious people can do their best work, with clarity, purpose, and room to grow. We’re thoughtful about what we build, how we work, and who we hire. The problems we’re solving are real. The systems we’re building are complex. And the people here care deeply, about craft, about speed, and about doing work that actually matters. You won’t find rigid hierarchies or endless process here. You’ll find high trust, high standards, and a team driven by curiosity, ownership, and long-term thinking.
Our culture is shaped by our values in action:
AI-native thinking: Every teammate thinks in agentic workflows, uses AI tools daily, and looks for leverage through automation. AI isn’t just what we build, it's how we operate.
Customer obsession: We build with urgency and empathy, speak to customers early and often, and measure success through their outcomes.
Speed as a habit: We ship fast, learn faster, and prioritize unblocking over perfection. We favour small experiments with tight feedback loops.
Leverage-focused execution: We hire high-impact players, invest in the 20% that drives 80% of results, and value candid feedback.
Highly aligned, loosely coupled: We align on outcomes, not tasks. You’ll work independently, but never in isolation.
Data-driven, human-guided: We seek clarity over comfort, speak up early, and use feedback to grow together.
If this sounds like the kind of work you want to do and the kind of team you want to grow with, we’d love to hear from you!
