Onboard Zoom users and revoke access for departed staff, automating account administration across the organization.
User Provisioning
Zoom Admin controls which users exist, their license type and group. A Beam agent reads user and license records, and when HR signals a joiner or leaver, applies the rule, adding an account with the right license or deactivating a departed user. Standard, well-defined changes are handled on their own. A request to grant an elevated role, a license change that exceeds the plan's seats, or a user whose details do not match the source record is routed to an admin, so account access and spend are not altered on an unverified or unusual request.
Account Settings and Scopes
Zoom Admin governs account-level settings and the scopes that decide what features and data are reachable. A Beam agent reads current settings, applies the rule, and adjusts permitted ones, for example enforcing a recording or security default across a group. Routine settings inside policy are kept aligned automatically. A change to a security-sensitive setting, a scope that would widen data access, or a setting conflicting with a compliance requirement is escalated to an administrator, so nothing that affects the account's security posture is changed without a person signing off.
Meeting and Usage Reports
Zoom Admin exposes reports on meetings, participants and account usage. A Beam agent reads these figures, applies the rule, and files or forwards them, for instance logging monthly usage to a record or alerting an owner when licenses sit unused. Reports within expected ranges are circulated as routine. An unusual spike in usage, a pattern suggesting an unused block of paid licenses, or figures that clash with billing are flagged for an admin to review, so decisions about seats and spend rest with a person rather than an automatic reading of a report.
