Scraper job runs

A Beam agent starts a ZenRows scraping run whenever your workflow calls for fresh data, for example on a schedule or when a new target list arrives. It submits the URLs, reads back the returned page content, and applies the parsing rules your team set to lift out the fields you care about. Clean records land in your database or spreadsheet. When a page returns nothing usable, the structure has changed, or the response does not match what the rule expects, the agent stops and routes that job to a person to check before bad data spreads.

Rotating proxy pool

ZenRows rotates proxy servers so requests are less likely to be blocked. A Beam agent relies on this while collecting data, reading the response status for each request and retrying through a different route when a site pushes back, within the limits your team approved. It records which targets succeed and which keep failing. If a source blocks requests consistently, needs credentials the agent does not hold, or would exceed the usage caps you set, the agent pauses that source and notifies a human rather than hammering the site or running up cost unattended.

Structured data export

Once a run finishes, a Beam agent takes the parsed ZenRows output and writes it where your team works, a warehouse table, a sheet, or a downstream tool. It maps fields to your schema following the rules you defined, drops duplicates, and flags rows with missing or malformed values. A short summary of the run goes to the channel you choose. Records that fail validation, sudden drops in row count, or fields that no longer line up with your schema are set aside for a person to review before anything is trusted downstream.
