A Beam agent reads fresh results from World News API on your schedule, applies your rule for what volume or type of coverage warrants attention, and writes an alert into the right channel with the key stories attached. It notes what changed since the last check. Spikes that could signal a crisis, or coverage whose tone is hard to read, are routed to a communications lead, who decides how to respond rather than acting on an automatic reading alone.
