Invoicing

Wave holds invoices with line items, due dates, and payment status. A Beam agent reads new and outstanding invoices, applies your rules, and sends approved reminders when one nears or passes its due date. It notes reminder history on the invoice and marks paid ones as closed once payment lands. Invoices with a disputed amount, a partial payment that does not add up, or a customer asking for new terms are handed to your bookkeeper, who decides on discounts, write-offs, or a payment plan before the agent goes further.

Bank and payment entries

Wave records payments received and matches them against invoices and bank transactions. A Beam agent reads incoming payments, applies your rule for which invoice each one clears, and marks the invoice settled. It writes a note when an amount or reference is unclear and keeps a running list of open items. Payments that match no invoice, cover several at once, or differ from the billed amount are routed to your bookkeeper, who assigns them correctly. The agent never guesses at an allocation that would affect the books without a person confirming it.

Customer and income records

Wave keeps a ledger of customers, income, and expenses used for reports and tax. A Beam agent adds new customers from your CRM, writes income entries as sales close, and files them under the right category by your rules. On a schedule it lists uncategorised entries and totals income so you see the month without opening Wave. Entries that could fall under two categories, or expenses missing a receipt or amount, are set aside for your bookkeeper, who codes them properly before anything feeds a report or a filing.
