Workflow run triggering

When a record or event you define appears, a Beam agent gathers the inputs a VectorShift workflow expects and starts the run. It reads the workflow's output, applies your rule for what to keep, and writes results back to the originating record where the connector allows. Standard runs complete and update in place. When the workflow returns an error, an empty result, or output that conflicts with your rule, the agent holds it and notifies the owner. A person decides how to handle the failed run, so no broken output propagates into your connected systems unchecked.

Pipeline output review

As a VectorShift pipeline produces results, a Beam agent reads the output and any confidence or status values it returns. It applies your acceptance rule, then writes approved results to the destination record and updates a processing field. Clean output posts without review. When a result falls below your confidence threshold, is malformed, or disagrees with data already on the record, the agent routes it to a human rather than writing it through. Your team reviews the flagged output and decides what to accept, and the agent records which results it passed and which it held.

Multi-step run oversight

For workflows with several stages, a Beam agent reads the status of each VectorShift step as it completes. It applies your rule for what counts as a healthy run, then advances the record and notes progress where the connector permits. Runs that finish cleanly move forward on their own. When a step stalls, retries repeatedly, or ends with an unexpected result, the agent stops and notifies the owner with the stage that failed. A person decides whether to rerun, skip, or fix the input, so a stuck run gets human attention instead of failing silently.
