Unsplash offers a large library of free images. A Beam agent searches it with keywords drawn from a request, reads the returned results, and writes the chosen image reference onto the matching record where your rules allow it. Selections follow the size and orientation criteria you set. When a search returns nothing suitable, or results conflict with brand or content guidelines, the agent leaves the choice open and asks a designer to pick. Final image decisions stay with people; the agent narrows the options and files the selection.

Attribution capture

Unsplash images carry photographer and license details. A Beam agent reads those fields for every image it selects and records the credit line alongside the asset, so attribution travels with the file. Images missing clear license information, or flagged for restricted use, are held and reported to a content owner rather than published. This keeps credit records complete without a person copying details by hand, while anything with uncertain rights waits for a human to confirm it can be used before it appears in any published work.

Download and filing

Once an image is chosen, it needs to reach the right place. A Beam agent downloads the selected file at the resolution your rule specifies and saves it to the connected drive or record where permissions allow it. It names the file by your convention and links it back to the request. Downloads that fail, or that exceed a size limit you set, are reported to a coordinator for a manual download. People approve which images ship; the agent moves and files the approved ones on their behalf.
