Operate records inside Triggre business applications, automating app work like updating fields and moving cases through their steps.
Custom application records
Applications built in Triggre store business data as structured records with their own fields and flows. A Beam agent reads a record when it is created or changed, applies the rule your team configured for that application, and writes updates back to the fields the connector exposes. It can advance a record to the next step and post a note for the owner. Records that hit a validation error, or contain values outside the ranges your team set, are left in place and routed to a person, so the agent never pushes bad data into a live business app.
Workflow step transitions
Triggre applications move records along defined steps, each with its own conditions. A Beam agent reads a record's current step and the data around it, checks the transition rule your team approved, and moves the record forward when the conditions are clearly met. It records what advanced the step and alerts the next handler. When a record meets some conditions but not others, or the required data is missing, the agent stops and hands it to a human reviewer rather than forcing a transition, keeping the process honest and every step change accountable to a decision.
Field-level updates
Every Triggre record exposes fields the connector can read and set. A Beam agent uses this to keep records current, reading a trigger event, applying your update rule, and writing the changed field values back. It timestamps the change and can notify a watcher that the record moved. Updates that would overwrite a field a person recently edited, or that conflict with another rule, are held and surfaced to an administrator. This keeps automated edits predictable and leaves any contested change for a human to settle inside the application.
