Translation Memory Reuse

Translation memory in Transifex stores past translations so repeated phrases are reused rather than retyped. A Beam agent reads suggested matches for new strings, applies your rule about the confidence level allowed for automatic reuse, and writes accepted matches into the resource. High-confidence repeats fill in and the linguist queue shrinks. Strings where the memory match is partial, where placeholders or variables differ, or where meaning shifts with context are routed to a translator, so a person confirms the wording before it ships and the memory does not carry a wrong reuse forward.

String Push and Pull

Transifex holds source strings and their translations per language resource. A Beam agent moves new source content in when developers update it and writes finished translations back out to the app, following your rule for which languages and branches are in scope. Progress is recorded so everyone sees what is done. Files that fail to parse, keys that collide, or a language that suddenly drops below full coverage are flagged to a localization manager, who sorts the conflict before a release goes out, since a broken resource can ship missing or mismatched text to users.

Review and Proofreading Workflow

The review step lets a second linguist approve translated strings before they are treated as final. A Beam agent moves strings into review as they are translated, reads approvals, and applies your rule about which languages require sign-off. Approved strings are marked ready and pulled into the build. Strings rejected in review, or those flagged for tone, legal wording, or brand terms, stay with a person, who edits and re-approves them, so sensitive copy is never published on the agent's judgment alone and the record shows who signed each string off.
