Task Time Logging

TrackingTime records the hours a person spends on a task, either through a running timer or a manual entry. A Beam agent opens and closes these when work changes state, for example logging time against a ticket while it is active. Your approved rule maps tasks to the right project and client. Entries that overlap, run far longer than the task usually takes, or land without a matching project are held for correction, and a person reviews them before the hours count toward a report, so the timesheet reflects real work rather than a stuck timer.

Team Timesheet Reporting

The app rolls individual entries into timesheets by person, project, and period. A Beam agent reads these totals on the schedule you set, checks them against expected hours, and writes a summary into your reporting record. When someone is over or under by a margin you define, their manager is notified to follow up. Figures that look off, such as a week with no logged time or a project far over estimate, are routed to a person, who looks at the entries behind the number before it is used for billing.

Work Hour Reminders

TrackingTime can tell when expected hours have not been logged. A Beam agent reads this gap, applies your rule about who should have tracked time and when, and sends a reminder to the right person to fill it in. Once the entry appears, the record is brought up to date. Repeat gaps, or people a reminder does not reach, are escalated to a manager rather than nagged again by the agent, so a human handles the conversation about missing time instead of letting prompts pile up.
