Conversational flows

Flows in TextIt script SMS, chatbot, and voice conversations step by step. A Beam agent reads where a contact sits in a flow, applies your rule for the next action, and advances them, sends the scripted message, or updates a field based on their reply. Clear responses move the conversation forward on their own. Replies that fall outside the script, signal a complaint, or need a decision the flow cannot make are handed to a human agent with the full transcript, so the person picks up exactly where the automation stopped.

Contact fields and groups

TextIt stores contacts with custom fields and groups that drive who gets what. A Beam agent reads and updates these fields as a conversation reveals new detail, applies your rule for group membership, and shifts a contact into or out of a segment. Routine updates, like recording a stated preference, happen without review. Changes that would remove someone from a required list, or that conflict with an existing value, are surfaced to a human first. This keeps targeting accurate while protecting records the team cannot afford to get wrong.

Broadcast messages

Broadcasts in TextIt push a message to a chosen group at once. A Beam agent assembles the audience from your rule, prepares the message, and schedules the send where permissions allow it. It checks opt-out status and quiet hours before anything leaves. Small, routine broadcasts to an approved segment can go on their own. Large sends, new audiences, or messages with unverified wording are held for a human to approve, so no bulk message reaches contacts before someone has confirmed both the list and the copy against your standards.
