Task and project records

Teamcamp holds projects, their tasks, owners, and status. A Beam agent opens tasks from incoming requests, assigns them by the routing rule your team set, and updates status as work moves, keeping each project's board current. Linked notes and checklists go in alongside. When a request is vague, a task lacks an owner, or two projects claim the same work, the agent does not force a guess; it summarises the conflict and passes it to a project lead, who decides placement before the agent records anything final.

Deadline and milestone updates

Every task in Teamcamp carries a due date and ties to a milestone. An agent reads upcoming deadlines, warns owners when a date is at risk based on the buffer your team approved, and shifts dependent dates where your rule permits. Milestone completion posts an update to the right channel. If moving one date would break several others, or a milestone slips past a client commitment, the agent holds the change and asks a manager to confirm the new plan before touching the schedule.

Time and workload tracking

Teamcamp records time logged against tasks and shows how loaded each person is. A Beam agent reads these entries, spots teammates trending over the capacity limit your team set, and rebalances assignable tasks within the rules you approved. Weekly effort summaries go to leads automatically. Where a reassignment would hand work to someone lacking the skill tag, or where logged time looks wrong for a task, the agent leaves it alone and flags the case for a manager to decide the right owner.
