Course enrolment handling

Teachable records who is enrolled in each course and when they joined. When someone buys or is granted access, a Beam agent adds them to the course, tags their cohort, and updates the roster your team keeps, following the access rule you configured. Bulk enrolments from a partner deal follow the same path. If a purchase looks duplicated, an email bounces, or an enrolment falls outside your normal plans, the agent stops and hands the case to a course manager rather than granting access on its own.

Student progress records

Every lesson completion and quiz score in Teachable updates a student's progress through a course. An agent reads that progress, marks learners who stall against your defined checkpoint, and messages them with the nudge your team wrote so they pick the course back up. Completion milestones fire the certificate or next-step email you approved, and the roster reflects who has finished. When progress data looks broken, such as a course showing complete with no lessons finished, the agent flags the account for a person to inspect instead of firing off a milestone message on faulty data.

Purchase and refund handling

Sales, subscriptions, and refunds all post to Teachable. A Beam agent records each purchase against the right student, updates revenue notes, and revokes access when a refund clears, under the refund window your team set. Failed payments get a retry and a reminder. Any refund request outside the approved window, a chargeback, or a payment dispute goes straight to a person, who decides whether to grant it before the agent changes the student's access or touches the financial record.
