Parse Tally form submissions and their data, automating response work like routing answers and exporting clean records to other systems.
Form Submission Handling
Tally collects responses from the forms and surveys your team publishes. A Beam agent reads each new submission, applies your routing rule based on the answers, and files the response in the right system while confirming required fields are present. It notifies the owning team that a response arrived. Submissions that look like spam, contain contradictory answers, or request something outside the form's purpose are set aside for a person to review, so a real reader decides what to do with anything the routing rule cannot place cleanly.
Conditional Logic Routing
Tally supports conditional logic that changes a form's path based on earlier answers. A Beam agent reads the completed path a respondent took, interprets which branch they landed on, and starts the follow up your team approved for that branch, such as booking a call or sending a resource. It logs the action taken. Responses that combine branches in an unexpected way, or that signal urgency or distress, are routed to a person, who reads the full submission and responds rather than relying on the branch alone.
Response Data Export
Tally stores submission data that can be read into other systems. A Beam agent reads new responses on a schedule, maps the fields to your destination according to an approved mapping, and writes clean records into the target system. It records the count moved and notifies the owner. Rows with malformed values, missing keys, or fields that do not match the mapping are set aside and reported to a data owner, so the agent never forces a bad record into a downstream system where it could cause errors later.
