Plan meals from Spoonacular recipes and read their nutrition figures, automating menu work like arranging recipes into a weekly plan that meets nutrition targets.
Recipe search
Recipe search asks Spoonacular for dishes that fit a set of criteria, such as ingredients on hand, a cuisine, or a dietary tag. When a request comes in, a Beam agent reads the stated preferences from the record, applies the approved filtering rule, and returns the recipes that pass. It writes the chosen options back to the request so a person or a later step can act on them. Where a query returns no safe match, or a result conflicts with a stated allergy or restriction, the agent withholds it and sends the case to a human to decide.
Nutrition breakdown
A nutrition breakdown reads the calorie and nutrient figures Spoonacular reports for a recipe or an ingredient list. Prompted by a new plan or a submitted recipe, a Beam agent pulls those figures, applies the account's target and limit rule, and marks each item as within range or over it. It records the totals on the plan record so the numbers travel with it. When a figure is missing from the source, or a total breaches a hard limit that the rule cannot resolve, the agent stops and passes the plan to a person for review.
Weekly plan assembly
Weekly plan assembly arranges recipes into days and meals to cover a set period. A Beam agent reads the requested length, servings, and restrictions, applies the approved planning rule, and slots recipes so each day meets the stated targets. It saves the finished plan and the shopping list Spoonacular derives from it back to the record. Where the rule cannot fill a slot without breaking a restriction, or servings and portions do not add up, the agent leaves those days open and asks a person to make the call.
