Audio-to-Text Transcription

Every recording dropped into a watched Sonix folder returns a timestamped transcript with speaker labels. A Beam agent submits the file, then reads the result against a customer-approved rule covering minimum confidence, expected speaker count, or required keywords. Transcripts that clear the bar get filed to the right project and the owner is notified in chat. When confidence drops below the threshold, audio is muddy, or speakers are mislabeled, the agent leaves the draft alone and hands it to an editor for manual cleanup before the text moves downstream to captions or analysis.

40-Language Translation

Sonix renders a finished transcript into more than forty target languages. When a translation request lands from a form or project field, the agent picks up the source transcript, applies the approved language list for that account, and orders the matching versions. Completed translations are attached to the original record and the requester gets a link. Anything outside the sanctioned languages, or a transcript still marked draft, is held back and sent to a coordinator, so no unreviewed source text gets translated and published in the wrong market by mistake.

Timed Subtitle Export

Sonix exports captions as SRT or VTT files aligned to the audio. Once a transcript is approved, the agent produces the subtitle file, checks it against a rule for reading speed and line length, and drops it beside the video asset in storage. The editor is notified that captions are ready to burn in. If timings overlap, a line runs too long, or the transcript was never signed off, the agent stops and flags the clip for a human, keeping unfinished captions out of anything that ships to viewers.
