Relay messages through SMS Fusion, reading destinations and writing send records while assigning routes and handling delivery failures.
Message Dispatch
Message dispatch sends approved texts from your business to customers at scale. When an upstream event or list is ready, a Beam agent reads the recipients and content, applies the throughput and template rules your team set, and releases the messages through the account. It records each send and its status. A message that fails validation, targets a number on a suppression list, or exceeds the agreed sending rate is held back and passed to an operator, who reviews the content and destination before the message is allowed to go out.
Sender ID Routing
Sender ID and routing control which name a text shows and which path it takes to the handset. As messages queue, a Beam agent reads their destination and applies the routing rules your team approved, choosing the correct sender ID and updating each record with the chosen route. It confirms the assignment. A destination with no approved route, or a country whose rules the account does not clearly cover, is escalated to an operator, who selects a compliant path rather than letting the agent guess at how the message should be sent.
Failover Handling
Failover handling keeps messages flowing when a delivery path has trouble. Watching send results, a Beam agent reads the return codes and applies the retry and reroute rules your team set, moving affected traffic to a backup path within the approved limits. It updates the affected records and notes the switch. A sustained failure across several paths, or an outage the rules do not cover, is raised to an operator, who decides whether to hold the queue or work with the provider before more messages are attempted.
