Curate Slite documents and read their contents, automating knowledge base chores like flagging outdated notes for an author.
Doc drafting from sources
Beam prepares Slite documents so the knowledge base stays current. Given notes, a transcript, or a linked source, an agent reads the material, formats it into a draft using your approved structure, and saves it to the right Slite channel. It fills in a title and any tags your template expects. The draft is left for a person to read before it is shared widely. When the source is incomplete or the topic overlaps an existing doc, the agent flags it and asks an owner whether to merge, replace, or start fresh rather than creating a duplicate.
Stale content flagging
Beam finds Slite docs that have drifted out of date. On a schedule, an agent reads the last-updated dates and, where allowed, the contents, applies your rule for what counts as stale, and compiles a list for the owning team. It can notify each doc owner with a link and why the doc was flagged. Small approved fixes, like a changed link or a renamed team, can be applied directly. Judgment calls, such as whether a policy still reflects how the team works, are left to a person to review and update.
Knowledge base answers
Beam uses approved Slite content to answer internal questions. When someone asks in a connected channel, an agent reads the relevant docs, applies your rule about which spaces are safe to quote, and replies with the answer and a link to the source. It records what was asked so gaps become visible. Questions with no clear answer in the approved docs, or that touch sensitive areas like HR or legal, are not answered from a guess; the agent routes them to a person and notes that a doc may be missing.
