New order handling

When a shopper checks out through a Shoprocket embed, an agent reads the order, items, and payment result, then records it in your systems and updates the customer. It applies your rules to confirm the order, set fulfillment status, and start any follow up you have defined. Paid orders that pass your checks move forward on their own. When a payment comes back pending, an order ships to a region your rules exclude, or the same shopper places rapid duplicate orders, the agent holds it and routes it to a store owner, who decides whether to fulfill, refund, or contact the buyer.

Product and stock updates

As sales happen and restocks arrive, an agent keeps Shoprocket product data current across the sites and channels where your cart is embedded. It reads quantity and price changes, applies your rules, and updates stock counts and product fields so buyers see accurate availability. Standard decrements and restocks are written through. When stock would drop below zero, a price change exceeds a limit your rules set, or a product appears on one channel but not another, the agent stops and notifies a store owner to confirm the change before it reaches shoppers, preventing oversells and pricing mistakes.

Customer record updates

Each Shoprocket order carries buyer details, and an agent uses them to keep your customer records current. It reads the name, contact, and order history, applies your rules, and updates or creates the customer profile in your connected systems. Clean matches to an existing customer are updated without review. When two profiles look like the same person with different details, a contact fails a format check, or a buyer asks to be removed under your privacy rules, the agent holds the update and hands it to an owner, who merges, corrects, or honors the request before records change.
