Contact list transfers

SendinBlue keeps contacts in lists with attributes describing each person. A Beam agent responds to a signal such as a reply, a purchase, or an attribute change, reads the contact, and applies the rule your team set to move that person between lists or adjust an attribute. The updated record writes back so your segments stay current. Where a move would remove someone from an active sequence, or where two attributes disagree about a contact's stage, the agent stops and routes the case to a person for a decision.

Marketing automation enrollment

SendinBlue runs automation workflows that enroll contacts and step them through emails based on behavior. An agent reads a contact's recent activity, checks it against the entry conditions your team defined, and enrolls or removes the person so the right people sit in each workflow. It records the change on the contact so reporting reflects reality. When a contact qualifies for conflicting workflows, or an enrollment would breach a frequency limit you set, the agent notifies the marketing owner and waits for their call instead of proceeding.

Transactional email records

Alongside campaigns, SendinBlue handles transactional messages tied to orders, receipts, and account events. A Beam agent reads the delivery outcome of each transactional send, applies your rule for handling failures, and updates the linked contact or reraises a notification when a message bounces or stalls. Successful sends are recorded against the contact so the history stays complete. A repeated failure to the same address, or a send that returns an unexpected status, is escalated to a person who can check the underlying account or address first.
