Reply to inbound texts in Salesmsg and log call outcomes, automating outreach work like sending campaign broadcasts.
Two-Way SMS Conversations
Salesmsg keeps a shared inbox where teams text customers and see full message threads. A Beam agent watches for inbound texts, reads the conversation history, and drafts a reply using answers your team has already approved for common questions like hours, pricing, or order status. For a routine ask it sends the response and notes the outcome on the contact. When a message shows a complaint, a legal request, or wording the agent cannot confidently place, it holds the draft and passes the thread to a rep with the context attached for a person to answer.
SMS Marketing Broadcasts
Broadcasts in Salesmsg let you text a list with promotions or reminders. A Beam agent prepares a scheduled send by reading the target segment, checking each contact for a valid opt-in, and filling the template with approved copy your marketing lead signed off. It queues the broadcast, then records delivery and reply counts back on the campaign. Contacts who reply with a question get their thread opened for follow-up, and anything the agent reads as an unsubscribe or dispute is removed from the send and routed to a person for a final decision.
Call Logging and Follow-Up
Salesmsg pairs texting with calling, so each number carries a call record. After a call ends, a Beam agent reads the log, matches it to the right contact, and updates the record with the outcome and a next step drawn from your playbook, such as sending a recap text or booking a callback. It notifies the owner when a follow-up is due. Calls flagged as escalations, cancellations, or anything with an unclear result are left untouched and handed to the account owner, who decides what happens before the agent acts again.
