Camera event alerts

Rhombus cameras flag motion, tampering, and people or vehicles entering restricted zones. A Beam agent subscribes to these events, reads the camera, site, and timestamp, then checks each against rules your security team approved, such as which zones are off-limits after hours. Matching events get written to your incident record and pushed to the on-duty channel with a still frame attached. Repeat alerts from one door within minutes are grouped so responders are not buried. Anything ambiguous, like a possible break-in versus a late employee, is handed to a human guard with the clip for a decision.

Access control events

Door readers and badge scans in Rhombus produce entry, exit, and denied-access records tied to each person and reader. Beam watches this stream, reads who tried which door and when, and compares it to access rules your team set, like contractors allowed only on weekdays. Denied attempts at sensitive doors are written to an incident log and the facilities lead is notified. Badge activity that fits normal patterns passes without noise. A person repeatedly denied at a secure entrance, or a badge used at two sites at once, is escalated to a human for review.

Footage retrieval

When an incident is filed, someone usually hunts through hours of recordings for the right clip. A Beam agent takes the camera and time window from a request, gathers the matching segment where the connector and account permissions allow it, and attaches the export to your ticket or incident note. It records who asked and why, so the access trail stays clean. Requests touching privacy-sensitive areas, longer retention windows, or footage tied to an HR or legal matter are routed to a human owner before anything is shared.
