Post messages and read channels in Revolt, covering chat work such as alerting teams on events and opening threads for reported issues.
Channel message posting
Revolt hosts channels where teams and communities talk. A Beam agent reads events from the systems you connect, applies your rule for what deserves a message and where, and posts updates to the right Revolt channel. It records what it sent and against which trigger. Messages aimed at large audiences, announcements, or anything touching a sensitive topic are held for a person to approve before posting. Routine status notes and updates go out on their own, so members stay informed without someone copying every event into chat by hand throughout the day.
Event-based alerts
Revolt lets teams react quickly to what is happening across their tools. A Beam agent watches the sources you link, applies your rule for which events are worth an alert and how urgent each is, and messages the responsible channel or person when one qualifies. It attaches the detail needed to act. Events that look severe, unusual, or affect many users are escalated to a named person rather than posted as a routine note. The agent keeps the noise down by alerting only on what your rule cares about, so channels are not flooded with every minor signal.
Thread creation for issues
Revolt organizes focused discussion in threads under a channel. A Beam agent reads incoming reports or events, applies your rule for what warrants its own thread, and opens one with a clear summary and the relevant links. It tags whoever should respond and records that the thread exists. Reports that are unclear, duplicated, or highly sensitive are routed to a person to open and word themselves. Routine issues get a tidy thread on their own, so conversations stay separated and easy to follow instead of piling into one busy channel where things get lost.
