Rent estimate lookups

Given a property address, the agent reads the rate and comparable data RentCast provides for that location and unit type. It applies your pricing rules, writes the estimate to the listing or deal record, and notifies the owner when a figure is ready. Estimates that fall inside your expected band post automatically and are logged. A number far above or below comparable properties, an address RentCast cannot resolve, or a unit type outside your rules is held and routed to an analyst, who reviews the data and sets a price by hand before it reaches a listing.

Market trend updates

On your schedule, the agent reads RentCast market data for the areas you track, such as median rents, vacancy, and recent movement. It compares the figures to your rules, updates the market record, and notifies the team when a metric shifts past a threshold you set. Readings within normal range are filed without comment. A sharp swing in rents, a data point that conflicts with last period, or a market newly marked volatile is raised to an analyst, who confirms the trend and decides whether pricing or strategy should change before any downstream record is adjusted.

Listing data enrichment

When a listing lacks market context, the agent reads its address and details, then draws the matching rate and trend data from RentCast to fill the gaps. It applies your rules, updates the listing record with estimated rent and comparable figures, and notes the source. Listings that enrich cleanly are completed and logged. An address that returns no match, data that disagrees with a figure already on the record, or a property type RentCast does not cover is held and routed to an owner, who verifies the details before the enriched listing goes live.
