It updates records to reflect what is ready and notifies finance that a batch awaits release. Totals that fall outside expected ranges, affiliates with unresolved disputes, or figures that do not add up are held and routed to a person, who checks the numbers before any payout is confirmed. The agent prepares the batch; the release stays a human decision.
