Transaction categorization

Quipu sorts income and expense entries into the right bookkeeping categories for the accounts. A Beam agent reads new transactions and applies the customer rule to assign a category, attach the matching document, and mark the entry ready. The categorized record is written back to the ledger for the books. When a transaction does not fit a known category, carries an unusual amount, or could belong to two accounts, the agent leaves it aside and asks the bookkeeper to decide, so the books stay accurate and no guess ever enters the financial record.

Invoice reconciliation

Quipu pairs issued invoices with incoming payments so the accounts show what is settled. A Beam agent reads invoice and payment records and applies the approved rule to link a payment, mark an invoice paid, or note a partial amount. Each match is logged for the audit trail. When a payment has no clear invoice, an amount does not agree, or a duplicate appears, the agent holds the pair and routes it to a person, keeping decisions about disputed or ambiguous money with someone who can check the underlying paperwork first.

Tax report preparation

Quipu assembles the figures a business needs for periodic tax filings from its bookkeeping data. A Beam agent reads the relevant entries and applies the customer rule to group them, total each field, and prepare a draft summary for review. The draft and its sources are recorded together for reference. When entries are missing, a category looks misapplied, or totals differ from the prior period without reason, the agent flags the gap for the accountant instead of finalizing, so a qualified person signs off before anything is filed.
