Field team messages in Pumble, reading each channel and thread and posting replies while automating notice broadcasts and status updates.
Channel message triage
Pumble organizes team talk into channels, and a Beam agent reads new messages to sort what needs action. When a message posts to a channel you nominate, the agent reads its text, decides the category against your routing rules, and either replies with a saved answer or opens a task for the owning team. Routine questions get a direct response in-thread; anything the rules cannot classify with confidence is escalated to a moderator with the original context attached, so a person handles the judgment while the agent covers the repetitive replies.
Direct message auto-reply
Pumble carries one-to-one and group direct messages, and a Beam agent can cover the predictable ones. On a new DM to a shared or bot account, the agent reads the request, matches it to your approved reply set, and answers with hours, links, or a status the rules permit it to share. It writes a short note of each handled thread for the record. Messages touching money, personal data, or anything outside the approved set are left unanswered and flagged to a teammate, so sensitive conversations always reach a human.
Broadcast and status posting
Beyond replies, Pumble is where teams post notices, and a Beam agent handles recurring announcements. Driven by a schedule or an upstream event, the agent composes the message from your template, reads the current values it needs, such as an incident state or a shipment count, and posts to the channels on your list. It confirms delivery and notes who was notified. A notice whose source data looks stale, or whose figures fall outside expected bounds, is paused and shown to an owner before it reaches the whole team.
