Cloud Print Delivery

PrintNode sends documents from software to any connected printer over the cloud. A Beam agent picks up a print job your workflow generates, reads the target printer and document, and applies your rules for routing before releasing it. It notifies the operator when a job prints or stalls. If a printer is offline or a job errors, the agent holds the item and routes an alert to a person, who retries or reassigns it. This keeps shipping labels and receipts from silently failing while orders wait on a print that never happened.

USB Scale Readings

PrintNode reads weights from connected USB weighing scales alongside printing. A Beam agent reads a scale value when a workflow calls for one, checks it against your rules, for example an expected package weight, and records it or notifies staff of a mismatch. It can hold an order whose weight looks wrong. When a reading is far outside tolerance or a scale returns nothing, the agent routes the case to a person, who reweighs or inspects the item, so shipping costs and contents are verified by a human before the parcel goes out.

Printer Fleet Monitoring

PrintNode reports the state of every printer registered to an account. A Beam agent reads printer status across locations, applies your rules for what each site needs online, and notifies the team when a device drops offline or reports low supplies. It can pause routing to a failed printer. Where a fault repeats or the cause is unclear, the agent escalates to a person with the recent history, who decides whether to service the machine or reroute work, keeping print operations visible instead of failing quietly across a busy fleet.
