Issue pretix tickets and orders, automating box-office work like resending confirmations and correcting attendee details.
Order Management
pretix stores every ticket order with its buyer, products, and payment status. A Beam agent reads incoming orders, checks payment and status against your rules, and updates the order or notifies the organizer when something needs attention, such as a paid order still marked pending. It can resend a confirmation or correct an attendee name on request. Orders involving refunds, chargebacks, or disputed payments are routed to a human on the events team, who approves the money movement before the agent records any change to the order.
Check-in Lists
pretix builds check-in lists that mark who has arrived at an event. A Beam agent reads scan and check-in data during an event, applies your rules for capacity and ticket validity, and notifies staff when a list nears its limit or a ticket looks reused. It can flag a duplicate scan for review. Cases where a guest disputes entry or a ticket fails validation get handed to a door supervisor, who makes the call, while the agent keeps the underlying attendance record accurate afterward for reporting.
Voucher Codes
pretix supports voucher codes that grant discounts or reserved tickets. A Beam agent reads voucher usage, checks each code against your campaign rules, and updates remaining quotas or notifies marketing when a batch is nearly spent. It can prepare a report on redemption rates for a given event. Requests to extend, reissue, or refund against a voucher are routed to a human, since those affect revenue and allocation, and the agent only writes the change once a person has approved the adjustment inside pretix.
