Standardize and validate mailing addresses so agents read PostGrid Verify results, correct stored records, and route ambiguous matches to a person, automating address cleanup.
Address Autocomplete
PostGrid Verify suggests and completes addresses as they are entered, cutting typos at the source. An agent calls autocomplete when a form or import supplies a partial address, reads the candidate matches, and applies your rule to select the best fit. It writes the completed address into the record where permissions allow and stays quiet when confidence is high. Where several candidates score closely, or none clearly fits, the agent stops and routes the case to a person, so a guessed address is never saved over a customer's real one.
Verification & Standardization
Verification confirms an address exists and rewrites it to local postal standards. On a trigger, an agent submits a stored address, reads the verified and standardized result, and follows your rule, for example updating the record and marking it deliverable. It notifies the owner when an address cannot be confirmed. Addresses that come back undeliverable, vacant, or materially different from what was stored are flagged for a person rather than overwritten automatically, so corrections that could misdirect mail always pass through human judgment before they take effect.
Bulk List Cleaning
PostGrid Verify processes whole lists, validating and standardizing many addresses at once. An agent runs a list on a schedule, reads the per-record results, and applies your rule, such as correcting deliverable rows and tagging the rest. It updates the records it can and reports counts to the owner. Rows that fail validation, or a batch whose failure rate jumps above a threshold you set, are set aside for a person to inspect, so a bad source file is caught before it quietly degrades the whole mailing list.
