Print & Mail Jobs

PostGrid turns documents into physical mail: letters, checks, and postcards produced and posted for you. An agent starts a job on a trigger, reads the document and recipient details, and applies your rule, for example mailing a statement once an account cycle closes. It records the job reference and notifies the owner when the piece is accepted for print. Jobs with malformed documents, missing recipients, or totals above a set limit are held and routed to a person, so nothing expensive or incorrect is printed without a human clearing it.

Address Placement & Templates

PostGrid renders your templates and places recipient addresses to meet postal formatting. An agent selects the right template on a trigger, reads the merge data, and follows an approved rule to compose each piece before it goes to print. It writes the prepared job back and notifies you when a batch is ready. Records whose merge fields are blank, or addresses that fail the formatting check, are set aside for a person to fix, keeping badly composed pieces out of the print run and off the mail stream entirely.

Delivery Status Webhooks

PostGrid reports each piece's progress from printed to in transit to delivered or returned. An agent reads these status events as they arrive and applies your rule, such as closing a task when a letter is delivered or opening one when it is returned. It updates the linked record and messages the owner about returns. Pieces that stall in transit past an expected window, or statuses that conflict with the record, are escalated to a person, so delivery reporting reflects reality rather than an assumption the agent made.
