Records that fail validation, arrive in an unexpected format, or would move a KPI beyond a sanity range you set are held and flagged to an analyst, who checks the source before the agent commits the update.

Performance Alerting

Plecto can signal when a metric crosses a target or falls behind pace. A Beam agent reads those thresholds, and when a KPI breaches one, notifies the owner through your chosen channel with the current figure and the gap. It can log the alert against the team record and note any action taken. Sustained misses, a metric that swings past a red line, or data the agent suspects is wrong are escalated to a manager rather than pinged as routine, so a person interprets the number before decisions or targets change.

Scheduled Report Distribution

Beyond live screens, Plecto compiles periodic performance summaries. A Beam agent reads the finished figures on your cadence, assembles the recap your template defines, and posts it to the leaders or channels on your list. It can attach context, like week-over-week movement, drawn straight from the data. Reports where a source failed to update, or where a figure looks inconsistent with the trend, are held back and flagged to the owner, so a person confirms the numbers are sound before a summary goes to executives or clients.
