Pick and pack Picqer warehouse orders, automating fulfillment work like adjusting stock levels as shipments leave the floor.
Order pick routing
When an order reaches Picqer ready to fulfill, the agent reads the items, quantities, and stock locations, then groups the pick under your rule for batch or priority. Standard orders queue for the floor automatically. Orders with an out-of-stock line, a fragile item needing special handling, or an address that fails validation go to a warehouse lead to resolve. The agent updates the order status as each pick advances and notifies the owner when something stalls, keeping the picking flow moving without hiding exceptions from the staff who need to see them.
Stock level adjustment
As goods move through Picqer, the agent reads receipts, returns, and picked shipments, then updates the stock count your rule governs across the connected store. Counts that agree with the expected figure post on their own. A discrepancy past your tolerance, like a shelf count short of the system, goes to a person for a physical recount. The agent keeps the before and after numbers on every adjustment so a manager can see what changed and why the stock figure moved the way it did.
Shipment status updates
Once a Picqer order ships, the agent reads the carrier, tracking reference, and dispatch time, then updates the customer order and the store record so the buyer sees accurate progress. Shipments that leave cleanly notify the customer under your template rule. A parcel missing a tracking number, or held by the carrier, goes to support to chase. The agent notes each status change against the order so anyone checking can see where a package sits, and it leaves refund or reship decisions on late parcels to a person.
