Encrypted file storage

pCloud stores files in encrypted cloud space, and a Beam agent handles the filing around them. When a document arrives from an inbox, form, or connected app, the agent reads it, applies your naming and folder rules, and saves it to the right location with the correct permissions. Duplicates, files that break a naming rule, or documents an agent cannot classify with confidence are set aside for a person to place. Routine, clearly typed files land in the right folder on their own, so storage stays organized without manual sorting.

Shared link management

pCloud creates share links for files and folders, and an agent manages them under your rules. When a file needs sending, the agent reads the request, applies the approved sharing policy, and generates a link with the right expiry and permission. It can revoke links on a schedule or when a record closes. Requests to share sensitive folders, set no expiry, or grant broad access are routed to a person, so nothing confidential goes out on an open link without someone signing off on the exposure first.

Folder access and permissions

Who can see a folder matters, and an agent keeps access aligned with your records. When a project starts, a person joins, or a status changes, the agent reads the event, applies your permission rule, and grants or removes folder access to match. Permission changes on protected folders, requests that would widen access beyond policy, or conflicts between two rules are flagged to a person. Standard onboarding and offboarding steps run on their own, so access stays current without an admin touching every folder.
