Given a query your team approved, the agent requests the listings, reads the returned fields, and writes each result into your sheet or CRM under the right source. Clean, complete records are kept; obvious duplicates against existing rows are merged per your rule. Listings with conflicting details, or that fall outside the area or category you asked for, are set aside for a person to vet before they enter your data.

Contact enrichment

Beyond listings, Outscraper can add missing contact details to records you already hold, and a Beam agent folds that into your data hygiene. When a record lacks a phone, site, or email, the agent requests enrichment, reads the returned values, and fills the gaps against the confidence rule your team set. Fields it fills are marked with their source for traceability. Results that look unreliable, contradict a value you already trust, or return several possible matches for one record are routed to a person, so questionable data never overwrites something your team depends on.

Scheduled scrape tasks

Research lists go stale, so Outscraper can rerun a query on a cadence, and a Beam agent oversees those recurring jobs. On schedule, the agent launches the task, waits for results, reads them, and updates your list with new entries and changed details following your refresh rule. It reports how many records were added or altered each run. A run that returns far fewer results than usual, errors out, or surfaces a sudden flood of changes is flagged for a person, since a silent scrape failure can quietly rot the list it was meant to keep fresh.
