Journey enrollment

Ortto moves contacts through automated journeys based on what they do, and a Beam agent decides who belongs in which one. When a contact acts or a record changes, the agent reads the relevant fields, applies your entry rule, and enrolls the person in the matching journey or removes them when they no longer qualify. It writes the enrollment and reason back to the profile. Contacts who meet two conflicting journeys at once, or who sit just outside a rule's edge, are passed to a lifecycle marketer so a person settles which path fits.

Audience segments

Segments in Ortto group contacts by traits and behavior, and a Beam agent keeps those groups current as data shifts. On a profile update, the agent reads the changed attributes, tests them against your segment definitions, and adds or removes the contact where membership clearly changed. It records why the move happened for later reference. A profile with contradictory signals, like an unsubscribe alongside fresh activity, or one that would join a suppression list by mistake, is flagged for a marketer, since wrongly segmenting a contact can send the wrong message to the wrong person.

Campaign activity records

Ortto keeps opens, clicks, and conversions against each contact, and a Beam agent turns that activity into tidy, usable history. As events arrive, the agent reads them, attaches them to the right profile and campaign, and updates fields your team relies on, like last engaged date or lead status, following your approved rule. Where the connector allows, it feeds a summary to your CRM. Activity that cannot be tied to a known contact, or that spikes in a way that hints at a tracking fault, is surfaced to an analyst rather than written in blindly.
