Domain registration

OpenSRS registers and renews domains and holds their DNS and contact details. A Beam agent reads registration and expiry data, applies your rule for renewal windows or auto-renew eligibility, and updates the record or notifies the account owner before a domain lapses. Transfers, disputes, or domains flagged for manual attention are routed to a person rather than acted on automatically. The agent works only where the reseller connector and permissions allow, so routine renewals and record updates happen on time while ownership changes and anything unusual stay with a human who can confirm intent.

Hosted email accounts

OpenSRS provides hosted mailboxes tied to the domains you resell. A Beam agent reads mailbox status and quota data, applies your rule for provisioning, suspension, or storage limits, and updates the account or alerts the owner when a threshold is crossed. Requests to delete a mailbox, restore data, or change a plan are handed to a person for confirmation. The agent touches only what your permissions cover, so day-to-day mailbox housekeeping stays current while decisions that affect a customer's access or billing wait for explicit human approval.

SSL certificate issuance

OpenSRS issues and renews SSL certificates for the domains under your account. A Beam agent reads certificate status and expiry dates, applies your rule for renewal timing and validation type, and updates the record or notifies the owner ahead of expiry. Certificates that fail validation, need higher assurance, or belong to a flagged domain are routed to a person. The agent acts only within reseller permissions, so certificates renew before they lapse while validation steps that require a human, and any exception, stay under someone's direct control.
