Triage NinjaOne device, alert, and ticket records, automating IT-admin work like acknowledging alerts and assigning technicians.
Device Alerts
NinjaOne watches the devices and endpoints your IT team supports and raises alerts when something looks wrong. A Beam agent reads alert records, checks the device and its history, and applies your rule for what to do first. On a known, low-risk alert, the agent acknowledges it, tags the device, and updates the record with the step taken. Alerts on critical machines, a pattern hinting at a wider outage, or anything the rule does not cover are escalated to an on-call technician, so a person owns the response where it counts.
Patch Deployment
NinjaOne keeps devices current by rolling out software patches. A Beam agent reads patch status across the fleet, watches which machines are behind, and applies your rule for scheduling approved updates. For patches your team has cleared, the agent queues them to the right group, tags the devices, and updates a note once they land. Patches marked risky, updates to critical servers, or a rollout that fails partway are held and routed to a technician, since deciding what reaches production and what to do after a failed patch belongs with a person.
IT Tickets
NinjaOne ties support tickets to the users and devices behind them. A Beam agent reads new tickets, checks the linked device and past history, and applies your rule for triage. It tags the ticket by type, sets a priority, drafts a first reply for common issues, and routes each one to the right queue. Tickets involving account lockouts, security concerns, or a frustrated user asking to escalate are handed straight to a technician, so a person picks up anything sensitive rather than leaving it to an automated first pass.
