Issue Moxie invoices, read logged hours, and update client records, automating freelance work like billing time when a project closes.
Invoice issuing
Moxie holds invoices, clients, and payment status for freelancers. A Beam agent watches a trigger, a project marked complete or a milestone reached, reads the logged hours and rate, and drafts the invoice in Moxie under your rule for amounts and terms. It updates the client record and notifies you before sending. When hours look inconsistent with the scope, when a client is already overdue on a prior invoice, or when the amount exceeds a set figure, the agent holds the invoice and asks a person to confirm the numbers before it goes to the client.
Client onboarding records
Moxie keeps client profiles, contracts, and project folders in one place. On a trigger such as a signed proposal or a new inquiry, a Beam agent reads the details, applies your rule, and creates or updates the client record, project, and folder structure in Moxie. It notifies you when setup is ready. If a proposal is unsigned, if contact or scope detail is missing, or if the client resembles an existing record, the agent pauses onboarding and routes the case to a person, who confirms the details before the client is set up.
Time-entry billing
Moxie ties tracked time to projects and prepares it for billing. A Beam agent reads new time entries, applies your rule for rounding and billable status, and updates each entry, then rolls approved time toward the next invoice. It notifies you when a project nears its budgeted hours. Where an entry has no project, where logged time far exceeds the estimate, or where billable status is unclear, the agent flags the entry and hands it to a person, who decides how the time should be billed and recorded.
