Place contacts into Mixmax sequences and update engagement records, automating outreach work like following up on unanswered emails.
Sequence enrollment
New leads often wait too long before anyone reaches out. When a contact meets criteria your team set, a Beam agent enrolls them into the right Mixmax sequence, filling merge fields from the contact record so the first message reflects real details rather than a generic template. Contacts that clearly match the entry rules go in automatically. When a record is incomplete, a lead already sits in another active sequence, or ownership is unclear, the agent pauses and asks a person to decide, so nobody gets double-messaged or contacted against your rules.
Follow-up automation
Most replies get missed because follow-ups depend on someone remembering. A Beam agent reads engagement on each Mixmax thread and, when a prospect stays silent past the window your team defined, queues the next approved follow-up with context from earlier steps. Straightforward nudges are scheduled on their own. If a prospect replied with a question, asked to stop, or raised pricing or a complaint, the agent routes the thread to the owner instead of pushing another automated message, so real conversations reach a human quickly rather than another template.
Engagement logging
Sales activity is only useful when it lands on the right record. A Beam agent watches opens, clicks, and replies inside Mixmax, then records each event against the matching contact so reporting and next steps stay accurate. Normal engagement is logged without anyone touching it. When signals conflict, a contact cannot be matched to a known record, or activity looks like it came from a filter or bot rather than a person, the agent holds the update and asks someone to confirm before the record is changed.
