Board item placement

Through the Miro Developer App, a Beam agent adds and arranges items on a board when an approved event calls for it, such as a new project kicking off. It reads the board's current layout, applies the rule for where cards, shapes, and frames belong, and places them accordingly. It notes what it added. Straightforward layouts complete on their own. If the board is locked, the target frame is missing, or the request would overwrite others' contributions, the agent stops and asks a person, so live collaborative work is never disturbed without consent.

Board content reads

Agents read board content through the Miro Developer App when another workflow needs what a team mapped out, such as action items from a workshop or the state of a planning board. The agent reads the relevant widgets, applies the rule for what counts as final, and passes the content downstream. It writes nothing during a read. When items are ambiguous, unlabeled, or spread across boards the account may not open, the agent reports the gap and leaves interpretation to a person before the content drives any decision.

Template-driven setup

On an approved trigger, an agent builds out a Miro board from a template your team has approved, reading the template, laying down the frames and cards it defines, and filling in known details. It reports the finished board to the requester. Standard setups run without a wait. If a template field has no source value, the request names a board that already exists, or the layout would clash with an active session, the agent holds the setup and checks with a person, so a template is never stamped over live work.
