Task board routing

MeisterTask organizes work as cards moving across project boards. A Beam agent reads new and incoming cards, applies the rules a team approved for triage, such as sending a card to the right board, section, and owner based on its labels or content, and updates assignee, due date, and status fields. Card owners get notified when something lands in their lane. Cards with no clear home, conflicting labels, or a request the agent cannot classify route to a person, so the board reflects real ownership instead of a guessed assignment.

Due date upkeep

Every card carries due dates, checklists, and status that drift as projects change. An agent reads the board on a schedule, applies the rules a lead approved, for example nudging owners before a deadline or reopening a checklist item left undone, and edits the relevant fields or notifies the owner. Standard reminders and status bumps happen without anyone chasing them. A card that has slipped badly, blocks other work, or needs a scope decision routes to the project lead. The agent keeps timelines honest and leaves the trade-offs to a person.

Section and status flow

Cards progress through sections that represent stages of work. A Beam agent watches for cards entering a section, applies the rules a team set for that stage, such as assigning a reviewer when a card reaches review or notifying finance when work is done, and posts the updates into MeisterTask. Clean transitions move on their own. A card that jumps stages out of order, or arrives without the information the next stage needs, routes to a person. The agent handles the repeatable stage-to-stage steps and flags anything that breaks the expected flow.
