A Beam agent calls that API to bring a bot into scheduled calls, reads the transcript and events it returns, and applies the rules a team approved for what to do next, such as opening a task when an owner commits to an action. Clean outcomes write straight into your task or CRM records. When a transcript is garbled, a speaker is unclear, or an action item reads ambiguously, the agent routes that item to a person rather than acting on a guess.

Transcript and action items

Every recorded call returns a structured transcript with speakers, timestamps, and detected action items. An agent reads that payload as soon as Meetstream AI delivers it, applies the rules a team set for follow-ups, for example who owns each item and which project it belongs to, and files tasks and notes into the systems your team already uses. It notifies owners of their commitments. Items with no clear owner, conflicting due dates, or wording the agent cannot resolve go to a person, so follow-ups land accurately instead of being invented from a fuzzy line.

Real-time meeting events

The API streams events during a call, not only after it ends. A Beam agent listens for the signals Meetstream AI emits, applies the conditions a team approved, such as a keyword, a decision, or a request for a document, and reacts inside your tools while the meeting is live. Standard signals post updates automatically. Events that arrive incomplete, or that could carry a sensitive decision like pricing or a commitment, route to a person to confirm.
