List and segment management

Mailwizz stores subscriber lists, custom fields, and segments inside your own hosting. When a signup arrives or a webhook fires, the agent reads the incoming contact, checks it against a segment rule you approved, and adds, moves, or updates the subscriber in the right list. It can clean duplicate records and correct field values that follow a clear pattern. Contacts that look risky, such as complaint-prone domains or ambiguous consent, get held and passed to a marketer, who decides whether the person belongs on the list at all before any message is scheduled to them.

Campaign scheduling

Campaigns in Mailwizz pair a template with a list and a send window. Working from a brief you approve, the agent assembles the campaign, sets the audience segment, and schedules the broadcast for the agreed time, then records the campaign identifier for later reporting. It can pause a queued campaign if bounce rates from a recent send cross a threshold you set. Anything outside the rule, like a new offer, an untested template, or a send to a fresh list, waits for a human to confirm the content and timing before it goes out.

Bounce and unsubscribe handling

Every send produces bounces, complaints, and unsubscribe events that Mailwizz records against each subscriber. The agent reads these events as they land, applies your list-hygiene rule, and updates each contact: suppressing hard bounces, flagging repeat soft bounces, and honoring opt-outs across related lists. Clear cases close without anyone touching them. When a valued contact bounces repeatedly or an unsubscribe conflicts with an active order or account, the agent leaves the record untouched and notifies the owner, so a person decides whether to re-permission, pause, or remove the address from future sends.
