Dispatch MailerSend transactional emails and read their delivery events, automating notification work like resending a receipt that bounced once.
Transactional message delivery
MailerSend delivers system emails such as receipts, password resets, and alerts triggered by an application. A Beam agent watches for an event that should produce one of these messages, reads the recipient and payload, and applies your approved rule for sending it, including which template and data to use. It records that the message was queued. A request missing required fields, aimed at an address your rules flag, or asking for a volume far above normal is routed to a person, since a malformed or runaway transactional send can reach real customers immediately.
Template-based sends
MailerSend stores reusable templates with variables that each message fills in. A Beam agent selects the template your rule assigns to an event, reads the data needed to populate it, and composes the send with those variables set. It can hold a message when a required variable is empty rather than deliver a broken email. A new template, or one whose variables do not match the data available, is passed to a person to confirm, so customers do not receive a message with missing or wrong details in place of the real content.
Delivery event handling
MailerSend reports what happened to each message: delivered, bounced, opened, or marked spam. A Beam agent reads those events, applies your rule for each outcome, and acts, for example resending a failed receipt once or flagging an address that keeps bouncing. It writes the outcome where your team keeps it, so the delivery history for each message stays traceable. A rise in spam complaints or a domain bouncing repeatedly is escalated to a person, because that pattern points to a delivery or reputation issue that a retry alone will not fix.
