Schedule Mailercloud campaigns and contact records, automating list work like retiring unengaged contacts after a broadcast reports its opens and clicks.
Campaign scheduling and dispatch
Mailercloud builds and sends email campaigns to chosen lists. A Beam agent reads a campaign that is ready, checks its list, subject, and send window against your approved rules, and schedules it or queues it for the time you set. It can pause a campaign whose list has shrunk unexpectedly or whose content is missing a required field. Once the send completes, it notes the result on the record. Any campaign that would reach a much larger audience than usual, or that breaks one of your content rules, is passed to a person before it goes out.
Contact list segmentation
Mailercloud keeps contacts in lists and segments with custom fields. A Beam agent reads new or updated contacts, applies your rules for which list and segment they belong in, and writes them into place with fields filled. It can shift a contact between segments as their engagement changes and remove duplicates it recognizes. It also records why each move was made so the segmentation stays auditable. Contacts with clashing segment rules, missing consent fields, or signs of a duplicate it cannot confirm are held for a person, so membership stays accurate rather than guessed.
Post-send engagement reports
After a broadcast, Mailercloud reports opens, clicks, and bounces per contact. A Beam agent reads those figures, applies your rule for acting on them, and updates each contact, for example tagging an engaged reader or retiring one that has not opened in a long stretch. It can assemble a short summary of the campaign for your team. A campaign whose numbers fall far outside your normal range, which may point to a deliverability or content problem, is routed to a person rather than acted on automatically.
