Translate app strings inside Lokalise and update their translation status, automating localization work like assigning keys and marking languages complete.
Translation key updates
Keeping translation keys current as an app changes is repetitive work an agent handles well. When new strings appear in your source, the agent reads them, applies an approved rule about which project and language they belong to, and adds or updates the keys in Lokalise where account permissions allow. Each change is written back so the codebase and the translation project stay aligned. Strings that arrive without a key name, duplicate an existing entry, or carry placeholders the rule cannot parse are set aside for a person, who names or merges them before they enter the project.
Translation status updates
Marking which languages are done keeps a release predictable. The agent reads the state of each key in Lokalise, applies a customer-approved rule, and updates the status as translations come in, moving strings toward ready without a person watching every one. Completed languages are noted so teams know what is shippable. Keys where a translation looks incomplete, a required language is still empty near a deadline, or a value conflicts with an earlier approved one are flagged and routed to a person, who resolves the string before it is marked final.
Translator assignment
Getting the right person onto each language speeds a project along. Reading the pending keys and their target languages, the agent applies an approved rule to assign strings to the translators or teams the Lokalise account lists, then notes who owns what. Balanced, clearly owned work needs no further input. When a language has no available translator, an assignment would overload one person past the rule's limit, or a key needs a skill the roster does not cover, the agent leaves it unassigned and asks a coordinator to place it by hand.
