Learner enrollment

When a learner's role is unclear or maps to no course path, the agent asks a training coordinator instead of guessing. People decide on exceptions, custom paths, and whether a learner needs manual placement outside the standard enrollment rules. The agent confirms each enrollment back to the record so a coordinator sees who has been placed and who is waiting.

Course completion tracking

LightSpeed VT records which learners finish courses and how they score on them. A Beam agent reads completion data, applies your rule to mark requirements met and unlock the next module, and updates the learner record. When someone falls behind a deadline or fails an assessment, the agent notifies their manager with the specifics. A person decides on extensions, retakes, and whether a struggling learner needs coaching rather than another automated reminder to finish the course. The agent keeps a running view of who is on pace and who is behind so managers spot problems before a deadline passes.

Certification status

LightSpeed VT ties course completion to the certifications your team requires. A Beam agent reads certification records, applies your rule to flag any that are expired or close to lapsing, and updates a compliance view for managers to see. When a certification cannot be confirmed or a record looks inconsistent, the agent routes it to a person. Humans decide how to handle lapsed credentials, grant grace periods, and confirm that a learner is cleared for regulated work. The agent alerts the manager ahead of an expiry date so a renewal can start before the credential actually lapses.
