Task Deadline Escalation

Leiga holds the due dates and owners for a team's tasks, the same as any project board. A Beam agent checks task due dates each day against the current date and, when a task passes its deadline without being marked done, notifies the owner directly rather than waiting for a status meeting to surface it. It does not reassign the task or change the deadline itself. Tasks that are overdue and already flagged as blocked are left alone, since chasing a task someone else is waiting on would not help, and that case goes to a person to unblock.

Team Workload Views

Leiga shows how many open tasks sit with each person, so a lead can see who is stretched thin at a glance. A Beam agent checks this view on a schedule and notes when one person's open task count crosses a limit the team has set, then flags it for the team lead rather than moving tasks between people itself. Reassigning work is a call the agent leaves alone entirely. Where the workload looks uneven for a reason the data does not explain, such as a person on leave still showing open tasks, a person looks into the case.

Status Update Requests

Leiga lets a task carry a comment thread where owners post progress instead of reporting status in a separate meeting. A Beam agent checks for tasks with no comment in a set number of days and posts a request for an update to the owner, then notes the response once it comes in. It does not mark a task done or change its state based on a reply. Replies that raise a new blocker or ask for help are routed to the team lead instead of just being filed as a routine update.
